In Solidarity from Germany to Şengal

Only some days remain until women all over the worl will come together to remember the tenth anniversary of the genocide and feminicide in Şengal. In this context, several actions took place in Germany.

In Berlin, internationalist women took to the streets and put up posters saying: “TAJÊ: Against Feminicide. Jin Jiyan Azadî!”

In Jena, the internationalist and feminist organization “Gemeinsam Kämpfen” (meaning fighting togehter) showed the movie Heza. They also remembered Êzidî women such as Day Gulê or Cilan. In the end they recorded a video, expressing the support for the five demands of the internal campaign “Against Feminicide – be the voice of self-defense“.
