We want to make use of this time to remember women, who resisted against the patriarchal system. <strong>As part of our campaign &#8220;Against Femicide &#8211; be the voice of self-defense!&#8221;<\/strong> we therefore invite all women to organize commemorations in all the places you are.<\/p>\n<p>For this, we want to introduce you some of many more resisting \u00cazid\u00ee women, who played an important role for our community.<\/p>\n<p>We are happy if you upload pictures and videos of your commemorations on social media with <strong>#AgainstFemicide<\/strong> and <strong>#DengeXweparastin<\/strong>. During the times of Sheikh Had\u00ee she was part of the \u201eMecl\u00eesa Runah\u00ee\u201c (in English \u201eCouncil of light\u201c, an important institution of the \u00cazid\u00ee community). Xat\u00fbna Fexran lived in S\u0327engal. Her knowledge and patience made her an pioneer for the society. She was especially seen as a protector for women and children as she was able to cure them with her hands. Today there is a see between the cities of Heseke in Western Kurdistan (Rojava) and S\u0327engal carrying the name of Xat\u00fbna Fexran, Furthermore you can find her temple in the mountains of S\u0327engal. As her real name was Xezal (meaning deers), there is a statue and picture of a deers next to the temple.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>2. B\u00ear\u00eevan Ciz\u00eer\u00ee<\/strong><\/p>\n<div id='gallery-2' class='gallery galleryid-301 gallery-columns-3 gallery-size-thumbnail'><figure class='gallery-item'>\n\t\t\t<div class='gallery-icon landscape'>\n\t\t\t\t<a href='https:\/\/taje-shengal.com\/en\/2024\/04\/26\/our-sehids-are-our-light-and-hope-resisting-ezidi-women\/berivan-ciziri\/'><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" src=\"https:\/\/taje-shengal.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/Berivan-Ciziri-150x150.jpg\" class=\"attachment-thumbnail size-thumbnail\" alt=\"\" \/><\/a>\n\t\t\t<\/div><\/figure>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n<p>B\u00ear\u00eevan Ciz\u00eer\u00ee was a resisting, young \u00cazid\u00ee woman. She led the resistance against the violence and attacks of the Turkish state against the society in Ciz\u00eera Botan. She worked hard for a societal self-defense and made the society to stand up for their rights. B\u00ear\u00eevan Ciz\u00eer\u00ee was killed by the Turkish state in Ciz\u00eera Botan in 1989. Her funeral turned into a huge resistance of the people in Ciz\u00eere. Until today, B\u00ear\u00eevan Ciz\u00eer\u00ee plays an important role for the people and women in the Botan region.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>3. When she was kidnapped by the so-called \u201eIslamic State\u201c (Daesh) during the genocide 2014, they wanted her to be married to fighter of Daesh. They told her: \u201eGo and wash yourself. We want to marry you with one of our emirs.\u201c However, C\u00eelan did not accept this dishonoring. She slit her wrists and killed herself.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>4. Day\u00ea Gul\u00ea<\/strong><\/p>\n<div id='gallery-4' class='gallery galleryid-301 gallery-columns-3 gallery-size-thumbnail'><figure class='gallery-item'>\n\t\t\t<div class='gallery-icon landscape'>\n\t\t\t\t<a href='https:\/\/taje-shengal.com\/en\/2024\/04\/26\/our-sehids-are-our-light-and-hope-resisting-ezidi-women\/daye-gule\/'><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" src=\"https:\/\/taje-shengal.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/Daye-Gule-150x150.jpg\" class=\"attachment-thumbnail size-thumbnail\" alt=\"\" \/><\/a>\n\t\t\t<\/div><\/figure>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n<p>During the genocide in S\u0327engal 2014, the first bullet against the so-called \u201eIslamic State\u201c (Daesh) was shot in the district of Sinune. When Daesh approached closer to the house auf Day\u00ea Gul\u00ea to kidnap her and her children, she took the weapon of her husband. When a Daesh-fighter entered her house, Day\u00ea Gul\u00ea shot his head and killed him. Thereupon, she was also killed. She was born into a patriotic family and was the daughter of S\u0327eh\u00eed Seid Hesen, a commander of the S\u0327engal Resistance Units, YBS\u0327. After witnessing the genocide against the \u00cazid\u00ee people 2014 in S\u0327engal, she decided to join the guerrilla to take revenge for the attacks against her society. In 2015, she was killed by the Turkish state in the mountains of Kurdistan.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>6. Mosul played an important role for Daesh, as it was the place where they proclaimed their \u201ecaliphate\u201c in 2014. It was also a place, to which many kidnapped \u00cazidi women were brought and sold. In June 2016, 19 of them were locked up in cages and burned alive. They resisted against the violence and brutality of Daesh and refused to convert to Muslim faith. Be it during witch hunt in Europe or in 2014 in Mosul, the violence against resisting women is as long as their struggle.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>_________________________________German______________________________________<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\">Widerst\u00e4ndige \u00eazidische Frauen<\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>1. Jahrhundert lebte. Sie wurde vor allem als Besch\u00fctzerin der Frauen und Kinder gesehen, da sie in der Lage war kranke Frauen und Kinder mit ihren H\u00e4nden zu heilen. Zwischen den St\u00e4dten Heseke in Westkurdistan (Rojava) und S\u0327engal gibt es heute einen See, der den Namen Xat\u00fbna Fexran tr\u00e4gt. Au\u00dferdem gibt es in den Bergen S\u0327engals einen ihr gewidmeten Tempel. Da der echte Name Xat\u00fbna Fexrans Xezal (auf deutsch: Reh) war, stehen neben dem Tempel eine Statue und Bilder eines Rehs.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>2. Sie f\u00fchrte den Widerstand in Ciz\u00eera Botan in Nordkurdistan gegen die Gewalt und Angriffe des t\u00fcrkischen Staates auf die dortige Bev\u00f6lkerung an. Sie arbeitete hart f\u00fcr eine gesellschaftliche Selbstverteidigung gegen diese Angriffe und weckte damit das Volk auf. 1989 wurde B\u00ear\u00eevan Ciz\u00eer\u00ee in Ciz\u00eera Botan durch den t\u00fcrkischen Staat ermordet. Ihre Beerdigung wurde zu einem riesigen Protest des Volks in Ciz\u00eere. Als sie w\u00e4hrend des Genozids an den \u00cazid:innen 2014 durch den sogenannten \u201eIslamischen Staat\u201c (IS) gefangen genommen wurde, sollte sie mit einem K\u00e4mpfer des IS verheiratet werden. Ihr wurde gesagt: \u201eGeh und wasche dich, wir geben dich einem Emir vom IS!\u201c Doch C\u00eelan akzeptierte diese Schande nicht. Sie schnitt sich die Pulsadern auf und starb.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>4. August 2014 fiel der erste Schuss gegen den IS im Bezirk Sinune. Als der IS dem Haus der Familie von Day\u00ea Gul\u00ea n\u00e4her kam, um sie und ihre Kinder gefangen zu nehmen, nahm sie die Waffe ihres Ehemanns. Als sich schlie\u00dflich ein K\u00e4mpfer des IS das Haus betrat, schoss Day\u00ea Gul\u00ea ihm mit einer Waffe in den Kopf. Daraufhin t\u00f6ten sie auch Day\u00ea Gul\u00ea. Heute steht in Sinune ein Denkmal, das an sie und ihren Mut erinnert.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>5.
