More women from Europe join the TAJ\u00ca-campaign “Against Feminicide – Be the voice of self-defense”. They published a video with the following letter:<\/div>\n

“On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the genocide and feminicides in \u015eengal\/Sinjar, we commemorate the women that have been killed, enslaved, abducted and who have been subjected to forced conversion.\u00a0<\/span><\/em><\/div>\n
We also commemorate and show our deepest respect to the women who fought in YPJ, YJA Star, and HPJ for their liberation and their rights, many of whom gave their lives protecting the \u00caz\u00eed\u00ee community.\u00a0<\/span><\/em><\/div>\n
In particular, we salute and respect the Shengal Women’s Unit YJ\u015e, who are self organized in the fight against the still ongoing attacks and to protect all women in the Shengal region and the entire \u00caz\u00eed\u00ee community.<\/span><\/em><\/div>\n

Following the call of TAJ\u00ca to show solidarity we are joining the campaign \u201cAgainst Feminicides \u2013 Be the Voice of Self-Defense,\u201d the Freedom Movement of \u00caz\u00eed\u00ee Women in \u015eengal\/Sinjar (TAJ\u00ca \/ Tevgera Azadiya Jin\u00ean \u00cazid\u00ee) launched an international campaign on March 8, 2024, International Women\u2019s Day.<\/span><\/em><\/div>\n

We thank our italian friends from Accademia della modernit\u00e0 democratica and Rete Jin, our german friends from CENI e.V. which is the kurdish women\u2019s office for peace, the internationalist communes of the youth and the members working in public relations.<\/span><\/em><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
We, as women from Europe and as women of the \u00caz\u00eedi and Kurdish Diaspora, send our deepest solidarity to our friends in Shengal and Kurdistan. As united women against feminicide, patriarchy and fascism we follow the path of the free women. As R\u00eaber Apo said, the 21.Century is the century of the women\u2019s revolution. From Germany to Italy to Kurdistan we say: Jin Jiyan Azad\u00ee.\u00a0<\/span><\/em><\/div>\n
